Katy Malatek
Katy Malatek grew up in North Liberty, Iowa and attended West High School. In 2011 she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After a brief hiatus, Malatek returned to her beloved Iowa and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering and Science. She is working with Dr. Craig Just researching fluorescent spectroscopy to analyze nitrogen in water and to determine ecosystem value of freshwater mussels.
