Suresh Niraula

Suresh Niraula is pursuing a  master’s of science degree in Environmental Engineering student at the University of Iowa.  In 2006, Suresh came to the United States from Nepal, and in 2010, earned his bachelor’s of science degree in Environmental Studies from the St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  Suresh works under Dr. Craig Just on the Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) Community Engagement Core project.  His research interests also include water and wastewater treatment technologies, especially in developing countries.  He wishes, one day, to practice his research interests in Nepal as well as teach at a school/university there.  Besides his research and coursework, Suresh enjoys travelling to new places, watching football and outdoor sports.
